I am honoring my grandmother, Carolyn Woodall, by participating in this campaign. Nana was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and Myelodysplastic Syndrome in 2022. She is doing well with her routine treatment, but this could cost $18,000 per month without insurance. Both of my parents, Hampton and Jennifer Howell, are in the medical field and have been important advocates to help her navigate the medical system. However, not every patient is this lucky. My hope for this campaign is to provide support for the critical work of LLS, specifically with helping patient support in honor of my grandmother. I know that with your help I can reach my goal and make a direct impact in the fight against blood cancers.
